I found that many people were lost for words when it came to recording and were more willing to say what they really thought before i got the marantz out. Also i felt people were saying what they felt was the right thing to same making a lot of my findings quite similar. I set out to record a mixture of male and female some in a relationship and some not and ranging from different ages. At the time i felt i got a good variety yet the women had better responses than the men did and most men just answer the question with one word answers so i could not use it. I did get a few good male response which oppose the view that they are more dominant yet the recording didn’t let me paste it together with the rest. I will look into the technical faults i had a try to re- edit this power artefact and illustrate the variety of response i got.
Overall i feel this was a simple topic with the encouragement of sound recording making it that little bit more simpler because although some people didn’t want to be recorded they were easily persuaded because their identity is concealed whereas moving image and photography its evidently obvious to recognise someone.
